Ruhnu Museum was founded in 1990 and the present exposition opened in 1998. Here we can see about 300 items that were once used by the islanders in their work and everyday life. There are 12 wallboards of photos and texts that cover the peculiar history and nature of the island. The most unique are the 8 thousand year old tools of seal hunters made of quartz, the dragon-head vane of the wooden church (1644), a seal-gun made by genuine Swedish inhabitants. You may watch a video program about the history of Ruhnu. A two-hundred-year old Korsi Farm is under reconstruction. It is rare due to its dwelling-house built without any foundation and a special type of (stooping) roof.

The Knighthood Building was built by von Dellingshausen at the end of the 18th Century and today, it accommodates the County Government of Saaremaa. At the beginning of the 19th Century, the house belonged to the Nobility of Saaremaa, then in 1912, to the Noblemen's club. The County Government of Saaremaa bought the house in 1920. The foundation of the building is symmetrical, with a high socle floor. The façade is proportionately divided by three protuberances, the central of which is crowned by a bow-shaped pediment. The balcony with dolomite marble columns and an iron balustrade decorates the façade.

The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world – at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And – experienced!
